West Bloomfield Fire Department Tractor Pull (Blacktop Pull) West Bloomfield, (Weyauwega), WI September 16, 2006 Start Time 11:00am Registration and Weight Scales will be open at 8:00am Farm classes can register until 2:00pm, but anyone who registers at that time cannot contest the rules.
Classes Pure Stock Classes (1957 and Older) Paced at 3.5mph, 20 Drawbar 3200, 4000, 5000, 6000, 7000, and 7600 Max Tire Size: 3000 = 13.6 x 38 4000 = 14.9 x 38 5000 = 15.5 x 38 6000 7000 = 16.9 x 38 Antique Classes (1955 and Older) Paced at 3.7mph, 20 Drawbar 3500, 4200, 4700, 5500, 6500, 7500, and 8100 Max Tire Size: 3500 4700 = 14.9 x 38 or 15.5 x 38 5500 = 16.9 x 38 6500 8100 = 18.4 x 38 Open Antique Classes (1955 and Older) Paced at 6.0mph, 20 Drawbar 3750, 4250, 4750, 5750, 6750, and 7750 Max Tire Size: All Classes = 18.4 x 38 No Oliver 88, Massy 44 , Farmall M, MM, U, or UB in 3750,4250 or 4750 classes Farm Classes (Any Age) Paced at 6.0mph, 20 Drawbar Non-Turbo: 7200, 8000, 9000, 9500, and 10000 Turbo: 7800, 8800, 9800, 10300, and 10800 No Tire Limits No Class Jumping (Example: If you pull in the Antique Class, then you cannot pull in the Open, Pure Stock, or Farm Classes) For more information, please call: Jerry Loehrke (920) 867-4982 or (715) 347-8282 General Rules for all Pullers 1. All contestants enter at their own risk. SAFETY IS THE #1 PRIORITY OVER ALL RULES! 2. Drivers age 14 18 years must have written permission from their parent or legal guardian, and present their farm safety course certification. No one under the age of 14 may enter. Drivers must be 18 years of age or older in Antique and Farm (Turbo) classes. 3. Driver must remain in tractor seat at all times, and operate the tractor in a safe manner at all times on and off the track. Think of the safety of yourself and others. 4. Kill switches, wheelie bars, and fenders are recommended in Open Antique and Antique classes. Wheelie bars must be strong enough to hold tractor. We strongly recommend a pad size of at least 5. Side shields and safety blankets are also strongly recommended. 5. No pressurized fuel tanks allowed. LP gas tanks certified for LP gas only are allowed. 6. All tractor s will be flagged to stop when the front wheels reach 24 off the track if not equipped with wheelie bars. 7. All tires must be on the tractor. Tires may be mounted forwards or backwards. No tracks, duals, or chains allowed. 8. All tractors must re-weigh and have hitch checked for height before hooking to eliminator. Nothing may be added or taken off the tractor after you are officially weighed-in. 9. The pull will start with a tight hook-up with no jerks. 10. If anything falls off the tractor before it is unhooked from the eliminator, the tractor will be disqualified. 11. All tractors must be in neutral while hooking-up. 12. The officials have the right to stop any entry at any time during the pull, and reserve the right to disqualify or deny entry at any time. The officials word is final. 13. The pull shall be considered over when the forward motion of the load stops. 14. Any tractor violating the track boundary will be measured from that distance if driver stops when flagged. 15. Tractors must be equipped with a 2 ½ clevis or pulling eye. Absolutely NO floating drawbars in any class at any time. All hitches must be solid in all directions. No bracing to drawbar behind rear cast of tractor above the point of hook. 16. No Massy 44 , Oliver 88, Farmall M, MM, U, and UB shall enter any class below 5000 lbs. 17. No T.A. or Power Shifting except in farm classes. 18. Unless there is a tie, there will be only one pull per tractor per class. 19. Drivers may not consume any alcohol while operating any tractor. 20. All drivers should be in line and ready to pull at the start of their weight class. 21. Official decisions made at the Drivers Meeting take priority over printed rules. 22. Classes may be added or subtracted on the day of the pull. 23. ANY PERSON CAUGHT TAMPERING WITH ANOTHER PULLERS TRACTOR WILL BE BANNED FROM THE PULL. Additional Rules for Pure Stock Classes 1. Age of tractor must be 1957 or older. 2. HP & RPM: No more than 10% over the factory HP or RPM according to the serial number of tractor and according to the Nebraska Test. Working PTO must be installed on the tractor, unaltered positive throttle stop, and working governor is mandatory. Any Stock tractor may be contested and put on the Dyno for a legitimate reason with the judges agreement. Any Stock tractor with more than 10% over the factory HP and RPM will be disqualified. 3. Maximum rear tire size is 13.6 x 38 = 3,000 lb class, 14.9 x 38 = 4,000 lb class, 15.5 x 38 = 5,000 lb class, and 16.9 x 38 = 6,000 & 7,000 lb classes. No front cut tires allowed. 4. Tractor must have stock model block, carburetor, and serial number for the make and model. 5. Tractors must run only on stock fuel designed for that tractor. 6. Tractors pulling in low gear, must verify low gear to track officials. John Deeres with creeper low gear may pull in second gear and will not be paced with horn at 3mph. 7. Weights should be fastened to tractor and in any safe way, including weight brackets. No weights may be added in front of front casting or 24 behind the center of the rear axle. 8. No striping of tractors below the dry shipping weight from the factory. 9. All other general rules apply. Additional Rules for Antique Classes 1. Age of tractor must be 1955 or older. 2. HP & RPM Recommended HP is not to exceed 15 HP above weight class. Over 100HP should pull in Open Antique. 3. Maximum rear tire size is 15.5 x 38 = 3,500, 4,200, & 4,700 lb classes, 16.9 x 38 = 5,500 lb class, and 18.4 x 38 = 6,500, 7,500, and 8,100 lb classes. No front cut tires allowed. 4. Weights may extend frontward, no more than 24 in front of the tractor casting and backward, no more than 24 behind center of rear axle. Weights should be safely fastened. 5. Antique tractors must have stock block for that make and model. No 12 port heads, M-M 800 parts, or alcohol fuel. Officials will test for alcohol in fuel. 6. All other general rules apply. Additional Rules for Open Antique Classes 1. Age of tractor must be 1955 or older. 2. All drivers must be 18 years of age or older 3. HP & RPM Any horsepower is allowed. If RPM exceeds twice original factory specifications, then safety equipment such as a bell housing blanket or a flywheel wrap are highly recommended. Working governor and dead mans throttle are highly recommended. In the opinion of the track officials, any tractor operating unsafely will be disqualified. 4. Maximum rear tire size is 18.4 x 38 for all weight classes. Front cut tires allowed only in these classes. 5. Weights may extend frontward, no more than 24 in front of the tractor casting and backward, no more than 24 behind center of rear axle. Weights should be safely fastened. 6. Antique tractors must have stock block for that make and model. No alcohol fuel or nitrous gas is allowed. Officials will test and check for alcohol or nitrous fuel injection. Any pullers caught using either will be disqualified from all classes. 7. All other general rules apply. Additional Rules for Farm Classes 1. Tractor may be of any age. 2. All drivers must be 16 years of age or older, and must present their farm safety course certification if under 18. 3. Maximum rear tire size is 18.4 x 38 for all classes up to 9,000 lbs, and any size in all heavier classes. No front cut tires allowed. 4. Weights may extend frontward, no more than 24 in front of the tractor casting and in the back the weight may be any reasonable distance. All weights must be safely and securely fastened. A 12 wide opening must be left for hooking chain to drawbar. 5. Tractors must hook off belly mount drawbar in stock location. 6. Wheelie bars, kill switches, and dead man throttles are highly recommended in all farm classes. 7. All other general rules apply.
